The cost and ease of use. It was very easy to implement into the company.
There are some system functionalities that don’t follow suit from one area of the system to the next, but again, this is hardly a reason to dislike service box.

Our HVAC company implemented ServiceBox, due to the features offered, but mainly because of the customer service. I naturally expected that once we signed up the help would fade away, but that was not the case whatsoever. The team at ServiceBox work hard, and are diligent at following up with a call, email or text within a very short amount of time, if not immediately. It is obvious that they work well together, as they each have their own assets they bring to the table. In addition, ServiceBox is flexible and customizable, with a clean, easy to view and understand the User Interface.
Contras:
No Application as of yet. Once the application is finished, it will be a top notch program for sure.

Comentarios: Overall, I again, can't say enough how much the support team has been. Any issue whether we call or email, we get answered in a timely fashion.

Comentarios: Its been pretty good ,It seems pretty everyrhing ,Im hoping there can be a function where,reports can be pushed out to my email.

The fact that you can see all the previous notes left by other users.Our company creates a ticket and we can see past users notes.
Contras:
I wish I could put images directly on my report ,instead of a separate window

Comentarios: It provides really good services and a great system. The services are efficient because tickets don't take much time to be resolved or to receive feedback. And the system is valuable because it has been beneficial for the business we have.

It is user-friendly and allows for scheduling tasks. Also, it is synced with other systems, which makes the process easier
Contras:
There are still things to improve. For example, when I send an email, I want to remove the WO document, but it is not allowed.

Take it from a Seasoned Service Box user in the HVAC service field.
Comentarios: I was part of selecting this product for a company I previously worked at, and developed for up to 25 users. It was the highlight of the great things about that company, so it was an easy decision to use at the new company I recently assisted in starting up from nothing. Started setup on a Tuesday, about an hour to complete the main setup, by Thursday I was filling out work orders and invoicing, the following Monday setup Stripe, and away to the races we went. Excellent support as well, the JobBoxSoftware team is incredible.

Mechanics love the ease of use and understanding, as well as the clients can easily read the mechanics notes and pictures since it’s all digital. In this industry, client and employee retention are the most 2 important things to growth. Happy employees having the tools at their The reporting allows for reconciling invoices and work orders. Stripe Credit Card Payment system was easy to setup, low cost and has really helped open up opportunities to easily solve our client’s problems without having to necessarily go through the credit app process.
Contras:
The default settings at initial setup allow for basic user tiers to delete clients, job sites, and work orders. It’s important to make this distinction before adding new users to the platform, an easy fix for the support team, but something to be aware of. The map link to job site, sometimes uses the bill to address, instead of the job site.

Service box is great!
Comentarios: My overall experience has been fantastic. In the event there was a major issue, the SB team quickly resolved the issue to allow business to operate as normal, they have assisted with company specific operating practices by offering work around a and additionally offer system customizations which I have had done several times for ease of use. Service Box is a great software with a great team behind it, and I tell all colleagues about it all the time.

Doing commercial refrigeration and HVAC work, I needed a very intense and streamlined work order management system to fully automate everything from quotes, to work orders to invoices, with the capability of recurring work orders for maintenances, complicated tax jurisdictions and class codes along with customer specific pricing and notes along with job sites, and service box allows for everything to be in one place vs accessing many different areas for information.
Contras:
I can’t say I dislike anything specifically about ServiceBox, however, I am very detail oriented and like everything to be exact across the board. There are some system functionalities that don’t follow suit from one area of the system to the next, but again, this is hardly a reason to dislike service box.

There are a few features I would like to add to the software, but overall I am really happy with the work arounds that [sensitive content hidden] has given me each time I come to her with a concern. Also, price jumps quite a but at each tier - would be nice if we could pay by exact number of users and not "up to"

Service Box Review
Comentarios: It seems to be very reliable. Customers can read there invoice well. You are able to put lots of information in various areas that you may need for future.

It's easy to use and clear. You are able to put in a lot of information both on the back end and for the customer.
Contras:
Pricing. It would be nice to have an up to date pricing. It remembers some prices, but it seems it remembers the wrong ones.

I spoke to our customer success team about the pricing issue, and they said it would be good to go over your settings with one of our experts. Changing the prices of items, either in inventory, or as a materials add-on to the invoice, should be a fairly simple procedure for anyone with the correct permissions, and those changes will definitely stick. Please submit a ticket using the "help" button on your SB desktop, and if you like, ask specifically for Scott, who I also spoke with today. We would love to help you resolve this.

Comentarios: Quite well, other than my few dislikes i like how the app works.

It seems to encompass the majority of what an individual employee need.
Contras:
The app seems quite useless, you can't do anything with it without opening the webpage. I'd also say it would be nice to be able to collapse the work orders when you hit the tabs on the top left. Aswell as not being able to input when offline to be automatically updated in when returning online.

Hi Connor, thanks for this helpful review. You're correct that the mobile app is a purely online app, but I'm happy to tell you that developing an offline version is on our list of development "to dos". An ability to collapse work orders seems like common sense so thank you for that...would you be willing to make that suggestion on our Feature Update page? I'll also mention it to our development team, but when a customer formally suggests the feature on the request page, and gets a few upvotes, it can speed up the process. ServieBox is the Way to Go

The time and money saved since we started using service box is a big factor on why we are so grateful for this program.
Service box overall is wonderful. The techs that we deal with are so very patient and just awesome.
Service Box in my books is the way to go!!!

There are many features that Service Box Provides. I use it for timesheets, creating workorders, material used, estimates, maintenance reminders, scheduling jobs in future and when I know to book the services. Customers can be listed very quickly. I use it for converting from an estimate to a workorder, then to an invoice, and all the information pulls over. Saves many hours of manually adding it everytime. Another feature that is great is how service box and whichever accounting program you have, Sage or Simply Accounting. I am able to sync the invoices into our accounting program. Which again saves more hours from manually doing it. If I have issues with the programs all I do is create a ticket for service box and explain what is happening and they are very quick at replying back to solve the issue for me. I highly recommend if anyone owns a business and wants to save time and money, call service box and get set up. We have been using them since 2015 and are extremely happy with this program. Thank you Service Box.
Contras:
At this time I have nothing to say what I like least because if something does not work I just send a ticket and service box makes it work.
ServiceBox has helped us streamline our company to perform our jobs more efficiently.

It has great functionality and allows us to run our company all from one software. It allows our technicians the ability to access the job site information that they require.
Contras:
It does not automatically prompt you to save changes. This has been a big issue for our technicians using their iPads and here in the office. We have found that it is not efficient for applying payments. There is alot of room for error and switching of screens. This should be changed so that it updates the paid status in all areas. The search function is inconsistent. Some of the customers do not appear in the search bar, we have to search manually in the customer list. There has also been issues with this searching invoice and work order numbers.

Comentarios: Works fairly well when it works, but was constantly logging techs out every few weeks or so.Very often photos that are taken disappear off the mobile appHave to type a job in a few times before it is recognized on the desktop, their IT department has never bee able to solve the issue

Comentarios: After working all day I used to spend all night at my desk, service box allows me to quote on site, not have to decipher time sheets and bill jobs before I leave the driveway!

Comentarios: The software is great for companies just starting out and is very easy to implement into an existing business. The cost is great. I do feel like it is something that as a company grows it will outgrow the software

Comentarios: Service box has made our small business perform as a much larger business and given us the ability to tie almost everything we do and deal with daily into a package that works. Its not without issues but as they come up they are dealt with quickly and professionally. Over all very satisfied with the product and look forward to what Service box will grow into.

Great value, it does have the characteristic still of a newer company.
Comentarios: More accurate representation of stats, and faster invoicing. More accurate tracking of invoicing and man hours.

The ability to source any invoice or work order from anywhere. It is incredibly valuable in many instances to have access this information.
Contras:
It has been slow in many occasions. Repairs/upgrades sometimes happen during working hours which I don't agree with. However - this has been getting better.

Best service software on the market
Comentarios: Our company tried a few different service software programs and couldn't find one that fit our business needs. With Servicebox having such great flexibility we were able to customize the program and reports to our specific needs. Also, the onboarding and tech support from Servicebox was great with them giving as much time as needed to get you operating comfortably. Strongly recommend the program.
Puntos a favor:
Very user friendly for both office staff and technicians. Many great features such as the ability to customize reports, add photo's, and integrate with existing accounting softwares. Very easy for techs in the field to learn the app. Significantly reduced dispatching and invoicing workload.
Contras:
Search function is somewhat inconsistent when looking for past invoices or work orders. Also, if you leave a work order without hitting the save button it deletes it and you have to do it over again. A save reminder would be nice for field techs using the app.
All in one package for any Service business
Comentarios: This organization tool has given us the opportunity to become completely mobile with our billing from the site while keeping track of work orders, time sheets, and customer history.

Not so great for android users
Comentarios: Its good on most days, just wish the app was more optimized for android users.
Puntos a favor:
The software works perfectly most of the time on my iPhone 6. Clocking in and out and just maneuvering around is quick on iPhone. I do not use this app for much other than clocking in and out of work orders and adding photos to benchsheets.
Contras:
Doesn't work so great for android. Note 20 ultra is much much slower than an iPhone 6 in comparison in all aspects of the software. The app does crash every once in a while when trying to upload photos to benchseets the screen will go all black and I have to force close and restart the app.
