Revolutionizing Fleet Management with Motive

Comentarios: A pesar de estos inconvenientes, mi experiencia general con Motive ha sido positiva. Los beneficios de usar la plataforma superan con creces cualquier problema menor que haya encontrado. Se ha convertido en una herramienta indispensable en la gestión de mi flota, y la recomiendo a otros en las industrias de camiones, logística, construcción y otras industrias que dependen de la gestión de flotas.

Puntos a favor:

El hardware de IoT y las aplicaciones impulsadas por IA agilizan el seguimiento de vehículos, la seguridad del conductor y el cumplimiento, lo que facilita la gestión de activos y la reducción de costos.

Contras:

Sin embargo, experimenté algunos problemas menores con la configuración inicial y la integración, que tomó más tiempo de lo esperado.

Motive to Move

Comentarios: Motive was easy to set up with our client specialists, and great support during the set up of the program for our company. Any questions or concerns they answer as best as they can, and if it is a new issue they work on resolving it ASAP.

Puntos a favor:

Great customer support 24/7. They also have a community board where other users can discuss issues or concerns that they ran into on Motive, and how they solved the issue. Motive is active on this as well, answering any concerns as well as they can.

Contras:

The only concern i would say about motive is that it is not a satellite telematics service. In long haul trucking we travel to a lot of areas where there is no cell service, and this leads to issues/concerns with tracking the unit.

Good alternative to the big bulky ELD screens

Comentarios: I like the motive ELD app is convenient. You don’t have to get a big bulky screen installed in your work truck and the app is very user-friendly. However, the financial tactics could be better. Inform the customer about the lump sum fee instead of telling them great price.

Puntos a favor:

You can use your cell phone instead of the big clock screen that you had to get installed in your semi truck

Contras:

The one thing I don’t like about motive is their financial tactics. They’ll tell you a great price, but they failed to inform you that you have to pay a lump sum fee.

Cowtown Dispatch

Comentarios: Its been really great and they are always improving and coming up with new features.

Puntos a favor:

The on time notifications I get when trucks enter restricted toll ways and when we are in an accident Motive sends a quick notification with all the facts we need to proceed with our Safety Team.

Contras:

When replaying drivers trips it gives 1 minute replays of a 3 minute request and it would be nice to get it available to rewind or fast forward the request.

Motive is a great tool to manage your fleet!

Comentarios: Overall we are very impressed with Motive and will continue using it to boost our Preventative Maintenance program, lone worker program, and help us to remain compliant with regulations.

Puntos a favor:

We like that we can see details such as speeds, infractions, hazards, and maintenance items all in one place. Motive helps us to keep our drivers safe, while remaining compliant with regulatory bodies. Our preventative maintenance program has been greatly improved with the notifications of mechanical issues that may arise.

Contras:

The only con to Motive would be when the GPS signal drops. Unfortunately operating out of northern Canada, it can get patchy with reception and occasionally that does affect the performance of the GPS.

Good and bad

Comentarios: I have been their customer for almost 2 years. They call me many times and Thats how I got their ELD and Dashcam. Unfortunately trucking business is went to a bad situation and I had to close down my business. Even if I was a good customer and I explained what is going on they didn’t even refund anything. I pay yearly and now they are saying I am in contract with 3 years and I have to pay next year also again because they can’t help anything with. I am advising everyone before you sign up with this company. They are not user friendly as you think. They give lots of wonderful words to make you sign with them but once you signed up they act differently. Beware about this matter please

Service and functionality is good. It never got stuck in between.

Contras:

About price and contract. Little bit pricey and once we signed with them they are not flexible or user friendly as we think.

Customer service is no good

Comentarios: Customer service reps are hard to understand due to them not speaking clear English.

Puntos a favor:

I liked the app and how easy it was to access everything.

Contras:

I disliked the gas card. You have to pay it back every other day instead at the end of the week.

Think Twice before getting Motive

Comentarios: Difficult using the system and getting help

The customer service was not the best nor was the log book

Motive ELD Service

Comentarios: The issue that I had with Motive is that when I fire a owner operator, they still wanted me to pay for service in that unit when I can no longer use it.

Puntos a favor:

They were cheap compared to the competitors and that they give you feedback on how the driver is driving.

Contras:

The service would have glitches in it every now and then. The tracking was off several times as well.

Comentarios: There are things that could make it easier like the inspection where you have to check off each individual thing that’s nonsense

Puntos a favor:

It settles my requirement for the DOT. Otherwise I don’t think I have it.

Contras:

As an administrator sometimes when I would check to see where a driver was, the system was incorrect that may have been fixed, but I don’t trust it still

Couldn't live without

Comentarios: Motiv made our lives simpler. I would definitely recommend to anyone starting out, as there's a ton of regulations to keep up with, use Motiv to help with your ELD needs, but the IFTA tax portion is a MUST HAVE.

Puntos a favor:

Motive- Formally Keep Trucking, was a great ELD software to help out drivers stay compliant. Easy view of all clocks from homepage. Reports and logs are easily accessable. Ifta Fuel Tax Reporting made simple.

Contras:

Cost. For Mom and Pop trucking companies, it is just another added expense. But to be fair, I don't know what their competitors charge.

Big tool with minimal componenets

Comentarios: Customer support is excellent, web and app content great, especially the ability to manage the fleet from the phone app. In vehicle cameras are excellent and the ability to set adjust or remove parameters you want monitored

Puntos a favor:

The ability to track and locate fleet vehicles and drivers while managing their driving habits

Contras:

bluetooth connection can be a bit glitchy at times

Comentarios: Overall I didn't have many issues , just sometimes when glitches occur and you have to restart.

Motive is pretty basic and easy to navigate

Contras:

Sometimes glitches occur but mainly it works good.

Motive Can Be Helpful

Comentarios: It could be better, so far, no major issues

Motive is a convenient way to report defects

There is a lot of lag. Real time tracking is off at times.

Love Motive

Comentarios: Love it. Easy to learn and get used to.

Puntos a favor:

On point live access. Easy to track where the driver's are.

Contras:

A little slow buffering. Sometimes it takes a while to load.
