No hard sell, just a clear idea of how bsport can help manage and grow my business. There are so many positives, ease of use for back office and client perspective, bookings are easy to do and manage, and if there are any issues, the customer support is first class and just as important, fast to respond. We were sold on the promise of streamlined bookings, communications, payments and administration. Unfortunately, that promise did not match our experience after signing. The sales process was deceptively positive compared with the reality of using the system. There are numerous features and integrations, but features are worthless when the fundamental customer and administrative experience does not work reliably. We migrated expecting technology that would save time, improve our customer journey and support growth. Instead, bsport ultimately created more work, friction and stress. > > **Puntos en contra**: The problems were relentless. Customers struggled to book, log in, navigate the timetable and use passes. Expired passes were reactivated during migration. Emails, reminders, receipts and Zoom communications were unreliable. The Android experience caused further problems. Financial oversight was poor: no direct Stripe dashboard, VAT issues, unclear processing fees and no straightforward partial refunds, forcing us to make manual bank transfers. Administration increased so dramatically that we hired additional support to cope with bsport. These were not minor glitches; they affected customers and daily operations. A booking system should remove friction. bsport repeatedly created it for our business and clients. > > bsport was one of the most damaging software decisions we have made. Problems began immediately after migration and continued throughout six extremely difficult months. Instead of saving time, the system created so much additional administration that we hired extra support. More seriously, it created friction for customers trying to book and interact with our business. To rescue the business we had to fight to get out of contract, they do not make it easy to leave. Meaning we have now endured two major platform migrations within twelve months. We will never know how many customers or how much revenue we lost. Software should support a business. For events, a guest buys an event pass and then separately books to event using the pass. It catches people out every time so we moved to EventBrite. The PoS system isn't usable if you have more than a couple of water bottles and some T-shirts. > > Each platform has it's issues, the more studio owners I speak to, the more this is apparent.
